Job summary

Onco360 Pharmacy in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Oncology Concierge Technician to support pharmacists and operations, handling patient inquiries and dispensing specialty medications. This is a full-time role with a remote work option and a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM MST.

Compensation starts at $24.00/hr with additional benefits including a sign-on bonus of $5,000 for qualifying hires and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of pharmacy experience.
• Pharmacy Technician State License/Registration required (per state).
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-call resolution for patient and provider inquiries.
• Coordinate medication deliveries and collect co-pays.
• Assist dispensing of specialty medications.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and manufacturer programs.

What You'll Do

The Oncology Concierge Technician supports pharmacists and pharmacy operations by assisting with dispensing specialty medications, resolving patient and provider inquiries, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and manufacturer programs.

How You'll Do This

• Provide first-call resolution for patient and provider inquiries, triage calls to appropriate departments
• Phone support- Coordinate medication deliveries and collect co-payments. Inbound calls should be handled using first call resolution customer service practices.
• Understand unique attributes and business rules specific to Manufacturer programs that participate with Concierge Services
• Perform duties as assigned by Sr Mgr, Ops Processes & Concierge Service specific to needs of manufacturer relationship. This could include but not limited to: verifying on label status, offering HUB enrollment opportunities, researching pending patients for updates
• Performs activities related to the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal laws and REMS programs
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and other duties as assigned

What You Bring

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of pharmacy experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities
• Pharmacy or healthcare-related knowledge, knowledge of pharmacy terminology including sig codes, and Roman numerals, brand/generic names of medication, basic math and analytical skills, Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills.
• Pharmacy Technician State License/Registration (per State Board of Pharmacy).
• Certain States also require National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT via PTCB/NHA).

Preferred:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB)
• 3+ years pharmacy experience
• Specialty pharmacy experience
