Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support the Wichita Falls location. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. role with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

The role offers entry to senior level levels based on experience. The team provides comprehensive benefits, LTIP potential, and a mission to deliver high-quality cancer care across Texas and Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certificate from an accredited CMA program is preferred.
• Entry level position: 0–3 years in medical assisting.
• BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Record vitals and patient data before physician visits.
• Obtain patient records as required by the physician.
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and supplies.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections as delegated.
• Maintain infection control in exam/treatment rooms.
• Answer patient calls and manage referrals.
• Place prescriptions and communicate with physicians as directed.
• Notify physicians of reschedules and no-shows.”
• Perform administrative duties as requested.
