Job summary

Texas Oncology in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. This full-time role supports physicians and clinicians in a busy clinical environment, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30am to 5:00pm and no weekends, call, or major holidays.

Under direct supervision, you will assist with exams and procedures, manage patient flow, perform clerical tasks, and help maintain schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant.
• Current BCLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care tasks.
• Promotes efficient patient flow and supports exams and procedures.
• Performs clerical tasks, answers phones, and maintains physicians' schedules.
• Supports adherence to compliance and ethical standards.
