Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support the Denton and Decatur locations. This full-time, Monday-Friday role offers 8am-4:30pm hours with no weekends, call, or major holidays. Position level will be 2 or Sr based on experience.

Under supervision, the CMA assists physicians and clinicians with patient care, maintains patient records, and supports clinic flow. Eligible for benefits such as tuition reimbursement and wellness programs.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred (certificate).
• Minimum three years of Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant experience.
• BCLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and support efficient patient flow.
• Record vital signs and update patient records prior to visits.
• Prepare examination/treatment rooms and stock supplies.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures as needed.
• Administer injections as delegated by RN or physician.
• Maintain room disinfection and clean work environment.
• Answer calls and coordinate referrals as directed by physicians.
