Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join the Gynecological Oncology team in Bedford, TX. This full-time role supports the Bedford location with occasional coverage for Grapevine and Keller. Work hours are Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm, with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

The position may be Level 1, Level 2, or Sr based on experience, with responsibilities spanning patient care, clinic support, and administrative duties. LTIP participation may apply.

Qualifications

• Entry level position: 0–3 years as medical or nursing assistant.
• Current BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred (Level 2).
• CPR certification required (Level Sr).

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Record patient data prior to physician visits (vitals, weight, allergies).
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
• Administer injections as delegated by RN or physician.
• Maintain exam/treatment room disinfection protocols.
• Answer patient calls and route referrals as directed.
• Enter orders under provider supervision.
• Perform other administrative duties as requested.
