Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join the Dallas team. Typical hours are Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm, with levels 1, 2 or Sr determined by experience. The role supports physicians in an oncology/hematology clinic, promoting efficient patient flow and assisting with exams and procedures.

Responsibilities include patient data collection, room preparation, injections as delegated, and administrative tasks. A supportive benefits package and LTIP may apply for eligible roles.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• This is an entry level to Sr position depending on experience; BCLS cert within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment.
• Promote efficient patient flow and assist with exams and procedures.
• Perform clinic support tasks including clerical duties, answering calls, and managing schedules.
• Enter orders under provider supervision as needed.
• Maintain room disinfection protocols and inventory of supplies.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certified Medical Assistant preferred

BCLS certification within 3 months of hire
