Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant II to join the Gateway, El Paso, TX location. Typical hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm.

The role supports patient care under direct supervision, assists with exams and procedures, and performs clinic administrative duties to ensure smooth patient flow. Qualified candidates may have an entry-to-mid level background, BCLS/CPR within required timeframes, and CMA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• CPR certification required/within 3 months of hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment.
• Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care during exams and procedures.
• Performs clerical tasks: answering phones, maintaining physicians' schedules, chart preparation, and related duties.
