Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research schedules essential clinical activities to support patient care in oncology settings. Located in Utah, the team coordinates appointments, imaging, and procedures to streamline study protocols and patient flow.

Qualifications

• One year experience in outpatient physician practice or healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and collaborative attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to scheduling CT/MRI/PET, biopsies, eye exams, etc.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and radiology procedures per protocol.
• Ensure prior authorizations are completed.
• Manage routine follow-up and treatment appointments and external referrals.
• Handle no-shows, phone calls, and rescheduling of patients.
• Maintain electronic medical records and support quality improvements.
