Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II to manage day-to-day coordination of Phase I-III interventional trials and observational studies across community sites. You will work with investigators, sponsors, and clinical teams to ensure protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and data integrity.

You will support startup, site activation, patient enrollment, and visit scheduling while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating across departments

Qualifications

• Minimum two to three years in a clinical research or cancer registry environment with regulatory or human research protections.
• Knowledge of clinical trials records, procedures, and computerized data processing systems.
• Ability to synthesize study conduct and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of assigned studies per protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Support startup, site activation, and training activities.
• Develop and maintain data collection forms, visit guides, and workflow documents.
• Educate clinic staff and stakeholders on protocol implementation.
• Coordinate patient enrollment, eligibility review, consent, and enrollment tracking.
• Support recruitment and retention strategies to promote study participation.
• Schedule participant visits per protocol timelines and study requirements.
• Ensure completion of procedures, lab testing, questionnaires, and investigational product accountability.
• Prepare requisitions, kits, and shipment of research specimens.
• Maintain source documentation, data entry, queries, and study records per protocol.
