Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join a growing oncology clinical research program at Hollings Cancer Center. You will contribute to Phase I studies, support the infusion suite, and care for trial patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, with a 40-hour day shift schedule.

Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited PA or APRN program and hold current licensure, with oncology experience and preferred certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PA program and licensure as PA or APRN.
• Oncology specialty certification is preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; DEA license applications must be started before start date.
• Maintain licenses and continuing education as required by policy and state law.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to oncology trial patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Supports the outpatient infusion suite and manages infusion-related reactions.
• Performs assessments and exams per protocol and Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
• Participates in Phase I Disease Focus Group and coordinates with CTO Research Nurse Managers.
• Documents care, participates in research onboarding and compliance activities.
