Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Solid Tumor Research team at Clements University Hospital. The APP will support pre-screening, patient management, study review, and reporting, with cross-training across solid tumor and hematologic research.

Ideal candidates have oncology APR experience, strong organization, and collaborative skills to grow the oncology research program. No weekends; full-time schedule with 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of research experience as an Advanced Practice Provider.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations.
• Synthesizes data to develop and evaluate patient plans of care.
• Demonstrates proficiency in clinical skills appropriate to specialty.
• Provides management, referrals, counseling, and education to patients and families.
• Participates in quality initiatives and research protocols to improve practice.
• Collaborates on research projects and applies evidence-based practices.
