Qualifications

• Indiana RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience; 10 years preferred.

• Demonstrated leadership, delegation and teaching ability.
• Excellent communication with physicians, patients, families and staff.
• Current BLS provider.
• Specialty certification required or earned within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, direct and supervise unit activities under the Nurse Manager.
• Help support and develop new oncology initiatives.
• Provide clinical and administrative support structure for the units.
• Engage staff in quality improvement and guide staff development and process change.
• Support new and current care programs by participating in unit council and providing continued clinical input.
