Job summary

Hematology Oncology of Indiana is seeking an experienced nursing leader to plan, direct, and evaluate the overall clinical care across the office. You will oversee the clinical team, including nurses, MAs, lab staff and pharmacy technicians, ensuring patient safety and continuity of care while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires an RN license (state of employment), OCN certification, CPR, and 5 years in healthcare with 3 years in management.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of employment (or multi-state licensure).
• Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) required.
• Current CPR certification; valid state driver’s license for travel to satellite offices.
• Five years of experience in healthcare; three years in management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate the overall clinical care and functions for the office.
• Oversee the activities of the clinical areas and assign work to the clinical team (nurses, MAs, lab and pharmacy techs).
• Assess, monitor, and educate clinical staff on patient care; institute emergency procedures as needed.
• Ensure compliance with JBIs, regulations, and organizational policies; maintain patient safety and continuity of care.
• Coordinate with departments to provide training, education and ensure timely completion of required tasks.
