Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Olympia Fields, IL seeks a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to provide administrative leadership for the department and collaborate with the unit Director and/or Manager. The role includes developing departmental plans, supervising staff, and ensuring quality care during night shifts.

The candidate must hold an active RN license with BSN preferred, BLS and ACLS on hire, and have at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience with supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS on hire and maintain current.
• ACLS on hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership for the department and collaborate with the unit Director/Manager.
• Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee department orientation and training of personnel.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate staff, ensuring efficient use of time, equipment and personnel.
• Perform direct patient care as needed within scope of practice and adjust care plans as necessary.
