Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago seeks a Clinical Nursing Supervisor for the Behavioral Health - Adult Female Unit. This full-time night shift role oversees patient care, directs staffing and ensures continuity of care across rounds.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certificate preferred for Intensive Care.
• NRP required 90 days after hire and maintained.
• Professional Certification within 2 years of hire, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily unit operations (Charge Nurse): assign staff to patients, triage admissions, balance workloads, and lead rounds.
• Support department operations (Clinical Supervisor): schedule management, onboarding, chart audits, and assist with hiring needs.
• Provide frontline leadership: manage escalations, fill staffing gaps, and ensure continuity of care and operations.
