• Manages all aspects of conducting clinical trials including screening, enrollment, follow-up, CRF completion, and adverse event reports.
• Recruits and interviews potential study patients with guidance from PI and staff.
• Collects, processes, ships and stores specimens according to aseptic techniques.
• Coordinates study startup through closeout including informed consent, data collection, and protocol adherence.
• Plans patient schedules for procedures, visits, and treatments.
• Educates patients about procedures, schedules, and risks/benefits.
• Ensures compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains accurate records and IRB submissions as needed.
• Provides training to new or backup coordinators.
