Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator 2 in Hematology/Oncology to support the PI and manage daily trial activities in Chicago, IL.

You will handle screening, enrollment, data management, informed consent, SOP compliance, and IRB submissions while coordinating schedules and communicating with sponsors and staff.

This role requires 2–5 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced research environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant clinical research experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple trials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage trial activities: screening, enrollment, follow-up, and adverse event reports.
• Recruit and interview potential study patients with guidance from PI.
• Coordinate study startup through closeout, including informed consent and protocol adherence.
• Plan patient schedules for procedures and visits.
• Educate patients about procedures, risks, and benefits.
• Maintain trial records and ensure IRB submissions and approvals.
• Ensure SOPs and protect patient data confidentiality.
