Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support oncology trials (CCC | CTO) across multiple OSU locations, including James Cancer Hospital and Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center.

You will screen patients, obtain informed consent, and coordinate follow‑up testing per protocol while monitoring safety and regulatory compliance with IRB and sponsor requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences, social sciences, or related field.
• One year of experience in a clinical research capacity (human subjects) is required; knowledge of medical terminology desired.
• Clinical research certification from an accredited certifying agency desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient records for eligibility for protocols.
• Recruit, interview and enroll patients; obtain informed consent.
• Coordinate scheduling of care appointments and testing per protocol.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and notify appropriate staff.
• Document responses and report to sponsors and regulators.
• Assist with IRB, FDA, and sponsor regulatory compliance.
• Support protocol development and study goals.
