Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Chicago is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Medical Oncology unit on the Prentice campus. This full-time night shift role requires coordinating and delivering evidence-based nursing care for an assigned patient group, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team.

The nurse will advocate for patients, develop individualized care plans, and contribute to ongoing professional development while maintaining high standards of safety and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher
• Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license
• BLS CPR through American Heart Association
• Analytic ability (conceptual and quantitative)
• Oral, listening and written communication skills
• Strong human relation skills to interact effectively
• Use of a keyboard to enter or retrieve data

• Demonstrates clinical expertise and pursues continuing education
