Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) on a 0.9 FTE basis. The role provides care management for an outpatient panel and leads education, triage, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality cancer care.

Required are an accredited nursing degree and WA RN license. Oncology experience is preferred; BLS certification required. Relocation assistance may be available and the center offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• WA RN license or multi-state license with WA residency within 60 days.
• Oncology nursing experience preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs and plan care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease, treatments and side effects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform direct patient care: education, triage, medications, orientation.
• Coordinate with outside care, hospice, home health as needed.
• Document nursing activities accurately and timely; protect patient privacy.
