Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health's Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center seeks an Assistant Director to lead the Cancer Center's daily operations, working with the Director of Operations, physicians, and staff to deliver safe, patient-centered care. In this role you will oversee Billing team, supervise administrative and operational teams, coach staff, evaluate workflows, and manage budgets within approved guidelines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline.
- Two (2) years of management experience in healthcare or patient-care setting.
- Strong leadership, supervision, and development of staff.
- Ability to manage staffing, workflows, and budgets within guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day Cancer Center operations in collaboration with leadership.
- Oversee Billing team members and administrative/operational staff.
- Coach, provide feedback, and develop employees.
- Evaluate workflows and implement improvements for quality and efficiency.
- Monitor departmental budgets and manage resources within financial guidelines.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical teams, and senior leadership.
