Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Clinical Account Executive to lead sales strategies across an oncology-focused territory. The role requires strategic account planning, deep clinical knowledge, and collaboration with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and administrators to improve patient outcomes.

As a field-based role, the CAE will build partnerships, translate strategy into action, and drive compliant, high-integrity engagements while meeting business goals and managing resources efficiently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics
• Preferred: Oncology experience, preferably in hematologic malignancies
• Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
• Strong relationship-building and strategic account planning abilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs
• Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders
• Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences
• Continuously evaluate territory performance using data and insights to optimize execution
• Maintain highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every interaction
• Complete AbbVie required training and adhere to company policies and procedures
