Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year technical/vocational training or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years’ experience as a medical assistant or EMT-B certification required.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Obtain and record vital signs, pain screens, weights, and heights in the EMR.
• Prepare patients and families for procedures and treatments with explanations and materials.
• Collaborate with MDs, nurses and clinic staff to manage room flow and patient care.
