Job summary

Covenant Health's Oncology Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Gynecologic Oncology team for full-time daytime coverage. The role supports physicians in outpatient clinic settings, performing exams, procedures, and patient care under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Medical Assistant by a recognized certifying body.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• Outpatient clinical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition, take vital signs and weight.
• Assist with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments including phlebotomy, injections, suturing.
• Administer medications per provider order and policy.
• Document interventions and patient responses in the medical record.
• Promote wellness through patient education and guidance.
