Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking an Associate Area Director, Clinical Operations to oversee nurse managers and clinical staff across a group of clinics. You will ensure policy adherence, standardized care, and staff competency while driving quality patient care in a multi-clinic environment.

Reporting to the Area Director, you will mentor leaders, monitor staffing and safety standards, and partner with HR to manage personnel actions and training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Registered Nurse in Florida; OCN certification preferred or to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Five (5) years of healthcare experience with minimum three (3) years in clinical management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical oversight of assigned clinics and serve as liaison with area clinical leadership.
• Direct, mentor, and evaluate nurse managers and clinical supervisors; address performance concerns.
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust to patient volume and schedules.
• Ensure nursing practice adheres to chemotherapy/biotherapy administration standards and safety practices.
• Conduct routine rounding, chart reviews, and competency validation at sites.
