Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is seeking a nursing leader to oversee clinical staffing and performance across multiple sites. You will collaborate with area nurse managers and leadership to screen candidates, ensure high-quality clinical support, and manage staff resources.

In this role, you will review patient safety events, work with risk management, and assist with annual budgeting for clinical services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; master’s degree preferred.
• Florida RN license required; OCN certification due within 6 months of hire.
• Seven+ years in healthcare/clinic/outpatient setting with oncology knowledge.
• Minimum five years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with area nurse managers to address clinical staff performance concerns and ensure clinical support.
• Collaborate with area leadership on clinical candidate screening and selection.
• Direct oversight of assigned staff in the area.
• Partner with nurse managers and pharmacy leadership to review and adjust clinical staffing across sites.
• Review events in Origami and regional dashboards to identify patient safety/quality trends and provide quarterly reports.
• Coordinate with Risk Management and staff to ensure timely Origami event review and follow-up.
• Assist in preparing the annual area budget for clinical services.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
