Triple Crown Urology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist physicians in the care and teaching of patients, participate in rounds, and provide on-call coverage.

The position requires a Master’s degree, APRN or PA license, prescriptive privileges, and a minimum of five years of oncology experience, with strong clinical skills and the ability to work across multi-site settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program.
• Master's degree required.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status using interviews and exams.
• Write prescriptions and orders per protocol for medications and tests.
• Determine eligibility for entry into clinical trials based on findings.
• Interpret study results and communicate care plans to the physician.
• Provide on-call coverage and participate in hospital rounds as needed.
• Document care accurately and promptly in medical records.
• Support patient and family coping during cancer treatment.
• Assist staff during emergencies and ensure privacy regulations are followed.
