Job summary

The US Oncology Network's Cancer Center of Kansas in Chanute, KS is seeking a full-time, on-site Scheduler to join our team. The role offers a Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule with Friday 8:00 AM–Noon, no weekends or on-call.

You will manage patient orders, appointments, and communications, helping keep patient flow smooth. Ideal candidates have at least three years of office experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with EMR/PMS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years of office experience, preferably in a medical office.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming calls and messages and prioritizes inquiries.
• Schedules patients in the computer system per provider guidelines.
• Maintains up-to-date patient demographics and records.
• Coordinates with clinical staff for pre-certifications or authorizations.
• Protects patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA.
