Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year in a healthcare-related field and 1 year in an acute healthcare system is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and medical terminology required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a highly professional environment in the clinic.
• Schedule follow-up visits, imaging, and lab work for patients.
• Prepare chart elements and escort patients to exam rooms; collect vital signs.
• Assist with non-clinical tasks to ensure smooth patient access and flow.
• May perform blood draw with phlebotomy certification.
• Assist physicians with non-sterile tasks and specimen collection as needed.
• Stock and organize exam rooms; assist with storage of supplies.
• Process pre-authorization and liaise between providers and patients.
• Ensure proper records and testing are completed before appointments/surgeries.
• Provide updates to clinic staff and patients for timing and workflow.
