Job summary

Hoag Health System is seeking a full-time Patient Care Assistant/Clerical Coordinator to support the Hoag Digestive Health Institute in Irvine, CA. The role involves direct patient care under RN supervision, ADL assistance, and clerical duties to maintain patient information and processing of orders. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Recent nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Experience with computerized charting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care with ADL, comfort, nutrition and hygiene for adults and geriatric patients.
• Record clinical measures, collect specimens, provide transportation, and maintain equipment.
• Maintain patient information in electronic systems and support nursing staff.
