Job summary

Texas Oncology Denton is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Hematology/Oncology team. This full-time role supports a busy clinic with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule, no weekends, no major holidays, and collaboration with practice physicians.

The APP will provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic care, participate in tumor boards and clinical trainings, and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered cancer care.

Qualifications

• Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
• RN state licensure and current NP/Advanced Practice licensure as applicable.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in outpatient/inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to coordinate treatment.
• Document visits and orders in the EHR per policy.
• Prescribe medications and manage symptoms.
• Participate in tumor board and ongoing trainings.
• Support education of staff, students, and community.
