Job summary

Texas Oncology Round Rock is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Medical Oncology team in Round Rock, TX. This full-time role supports the Medical Oncology Department with a schedule of four clinic days and one administrative day each week, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

Qualifications

• MSN degree and NP program completion required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• NCCPA certification for PAs.
• RN/NP/CNS licensure in practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Direct care and management in outpatient/inpatient settings, including documentation of visits and education of patients and families.
• Prescribe medications and manage symptoms in collaboration with physicians.
• Collaborate with the care team and refer to other providers as needed.
• Complete documentation per Texas Oncology policy and guidelines.
• Participate in tumor board, institutional trainings, and meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

MSN from accredited nursing school and completion of NP program

NCCPA certification (for Physician Assistant)
