Job summary

Texas Oncology Round Rock is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Medical Oncology Department. This full-time role supports clinic days Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with four clinic days and one administrative day weekly, and no weekends or major holidays.

The position may be filled at level 1, 2, or Sr depending on experience and qualifications. APPs enjoy a competitive salary, CME budget, and tailored onboarding as part of a busy, collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• MSN and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
• RN licensure and current BLS/CPR.
• PA route requires NCCPA certification and state PA license.
• CNS route requires an MSN with CNS certification.
• Level 1: 0–3 years; Level 2: 3 years; Level Sr: 6 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct care and management in outpatient/inpatient settings with documentation, education, order entry, and prescribing medications.
• Interdependent practice with collaborative physicians and team.
• Proficient use of Electronic Health Record and complete documentation per policy.
• Build strong collaborative relationships across the organization and medical community.
• Perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures as appropriate; participate in tumor boards and trainings.
