Job summary

Forge is seeking an Operations Specialist to support investors and internal teams by processing inbound cash and asset transfer requests into self-directed retirement accounts. You will review transfer documentation, submit requests to custodians, track status, and follow up to ensure timely completion.

The role also provides cross-functional support to the New Accounts Onboarding team, balancing workloads and ensuring timely service delivery through accurate data entry and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in financial services, operations support, or transaction processing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open requests simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with process-driven, ticket-based workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review transfer paperwork for completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Submit transfer requests to custodians via approved methods.
• Track transfer pipelines and follow up with custodians as needed.
• Maintain accurate notes and status updates within systems.
• Communicate with investors regarding missing documentation or transfer status.
• Collaborate with onboarding and account maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Support the New Accounts team with processing account maintenance requests.
