Job summary

The Forge Companies are seeking an Operations Specialist I - Wealth in Atlanta to support Investment Officers and Client Support Teams in daily administration of advisory accounts. You will manage account paperwork, records, transfers, and billing while maintaining controls and aiding service improvements.

Ideal candidates have a business/finance background, experience with Fidelity/Schwab, and strong organizational and communication skills to drive accurate, timely client service.

Responsibilities

• Review and process new/existing client account paperwork with Fidelity/Schwab.
• Update client records accurately and timely.
• Assist in transferring and re-registering securities for new accounts.
• Support account terminations, deposits and disbursements.
• Maintain internal controls and meet audit and regulatory requirements.
• Perform general administrative duties and CRM data maintenance.
• Assist Operations Manager with special projects and service improvements.
• Assist with investment account billing setup, processing, and final fee processes.
• Collaborate with Operations to provide backup or assistance when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Operations Specialist I - Wealth will provide support to Investment Officers and Client Support Teams in the daily administration and management of our advisory accounts. The Operations Specialist-Wealth should have the skills and knowledge to support these types of accounts. The Operations Specialist I - Wealth also needs to be self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under a time sensitive delivery schedule, goal-oriented, detailed, and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Functions

• Account Opening: review and process new/existing client account paperwork with Fidelity/Schwab.
• Account Maintenance: ensure all client records are updated accurately and timely.
• Account Funding: assists in the transferring and re-registering of securities for new accounts.
• Assists in the termination of accounts.
• Processes account deposits and disbursements.
• Maintain internal controls and meet audit and regulatory requirements.
• Perform general administrative duties such as mailing, correspondence and maintaining customer records in our CRM and document storage platforms.
• Assist Operations Manager with special projects and team service improvement.
• Assist with investment account billing set up, processing, and final fee processes at account closing.
• Work with other areas of Operations within the Forge Companies to provide back-up or assistance when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience using custodial platforms (Ex. Fidelity/Schwab)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
