Job summary

The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking two Supervisors to lead onboarding, training, and professional development for Support Administrators. You will coach probationary staff, conduct performance evaluations, and serve as a subject-matter expert on regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities include establishing probation benchmarks, coordinating with leadership to improve SA practices, and overseeing training and compliance initiatives across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Social Work, Psychology or related area.
• Three years of Cuyahoga DD experience or five years of DD experience.
• Eligibility for SSA Supervisor certification within state statute timelines.
• Valid State of Ohio driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise onboarding and probationary supervision of Service and Support Administrators.
• Provide intensive coaching, mentoring, observation, and performance feedback.
• Develop probationary benchmarks, competencies, and performance indicators.
• Collect and prepare information related to performance issues.
• Collaborate to improve SA practice standards and onboarding processes.
• Oversee fiscal aspects including expenditures through cost projection tools and authorization reviews.
• Develop SA policies, training curriculum, and quality assurance activities.
• Participate in hiring, training, and developing Support Administrators.
• Deliver training on Medicaid, Medicaid Waivers, and SSA functions.
