Job summary

The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking two supervisors to lead onboarding, training, and professional development for Support Administrators to ensure person-centered service delivery.

Responsibilities include intensive coaching, performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to Ohio regulations and agency quality standards. The role involves hiring, mentoring, and shaping SA practices with a hybrid onsite/remote schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Three years of Cuyahoga DD experience or five years of DD experience.
• Eligibility for State DD SSA Supervisor certification within state statute timelines.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and driving record in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise onboarding, training, and professional development for Support Administrators.
• Provide structured supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations during probation.
• Lead policy development and compliance with Ohio Administrative Code Rule 5123-4-02 and agency standards.
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to improve SA practice standards and onboarding processes.
• Assist in hiring and developing SA staff and managing caseloads.
