Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Training Manager in Harrisburg, PA, to enhance onboarding and ongoing training across Transportation and Warehouse; lead Job Trainers, manage 90-day orientation, and drive improvements in trainee performance.

The role requires a 4-year degree in Training & Development or related field, and minimum 2 years in training, with strong coaching, communication, and public speaking skills; OSHA/DOT and safety knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Training & Development-related field or commensurate experience in similar field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Training-related job.
• Experience with building and managing onboarding training programs for individual-contributor positions.
• Experience with building coaching & feedback cultures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage onboarding training programs with a focus on colleague performance.
• Select and indirectly manage On-The-Job Trainers for Transportation and Warehouse Departments.
• Manage onboarding for new Drivers and Warehouse initial training leveraging Operations Academy Programs.
• Track and analyze training-related activity and report progress to site leadership.
• Lead discussions with Site Leadership on onboarding and training activity for high-volume positions.
• Drive a culture of feedback as part of the development process across all positions.
• Participate in colleague check-ins and retention playbook activities to improve early experiences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
