Harvey, Inc. seeks a People Operations Coordinator, Onboarding to support the NY-based new hire experience from pre-arrival travel to day-one facilitation.

This hands-on role sits at the center of a fast-growing People team, partnering with People Systems, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, and Legal. You will execute a high volume of moving pieces with precision and help improve systems and materials as the program matures.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in HR, People Operations, onboarding, or related operations.
• Experience with an HRIS (Workday preferred) and onboarding workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for large cohorts.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate in-person onboarding for New York–based new hire cohorts and run orientation.
• Own onboarding logistics end-to-end: coordinate filing, schedules, decks, and calendar invites.
• Process new hires across Workday and related tools with attention to downstream Payroll/Benefits/IT.
• Support pre-employment and compliance processes, including background checks and right-to-work verification.
• Create and maintain onboarding materials — slides, guides, and internal docs.
