Acara Solutions has an excellent opportunity for an Onboarding Specialist in Phoenix, AZ. The Onboarding Specialist will assist the recruitment practice with onboarding candidates and pay-rolled contractors for various clients and locations.

The onboarding process includes background checks, drug testing, safety training, I-9s, verifications, and customer-specific documents. This role operates in a modern, hybrid work environment with potential remote work options after training, requiring

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in an office environment.
• 1 year of experience using MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist candidates and contractors with onboarding including orientation steps and benefits.
• Coordinate new start paperwork and ensure documents are complete in the onboarding portal.
• Communicate regularly with recruiters on onboarding status.
• Administer background check, drug screen, and safety training with third-party vendors.
• Support payroll by submitting timesheets, expenses, and per diems in the VMS portals.
• Help with payroll corrections, rate changes, direct deposits, and invoicing timesheets.
