Job summary

West Capital Lending in Irvine, CA is seeking an Onboarding Assistant to join our Operations team. This full-time, in-office role is the first point of contact for new loan officers, handling onboarding, licensing, and credentialing to ensure smooth integration into the West Capital ecosystem.

You’ll collaborate with compliance, recruiting, and operations to maintain high standards, manage timelines, and provide clear, proactive support to new hires throughout the process.

Qualifications

• This is a full-time, in-office position (no remote/hybrid).
• 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday.
• Must be able to work onsite in our Irvine office.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and NMLS licensing for all incoming loan officers and branches.
• Guide new hires through background checks, fingerprinting, documentation, and state-specific licensing requirements.
• Coordinate with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure onboarding timelines are met.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date licensing records in company systems.
• Liaise with compliance and legal teams to verify eligibility and regulatory adherence.
• Provide clear communication and support to new hires throughout the process.
• Track onboarding progress and generate weekly reports for leadership.
• Continuously improve onboarding workflows to support scale and efficiency.
