Job summary

Cambridge Investment Research is seeking a Transition Support professional to assist new financial professionals converting their practices, provide training on Cambridge processes, and build strong ongoing relationships. You will review client business mixes to tailor transition plans and serve as the primary onboarding contact, coordinating across departments to access internal resources.

Qualifications

  • Two+ years of related experience, education, and/or training.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to present information effectively to associates, managers, customers, and small groups.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and probability.
  • Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
  • Proficiency with database software, email, internet software, spreadsheets and macros, word processing, and department-specific proprietary software.
  • Clear, professional, and courteous written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate, work independently, influence others, and guide a group or individual toward task completion.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time-management skills, including the ability to work well under pressure.
  • No licenses or certificates are required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist new financial professionals as they convert their practices to Cambridge Investment Research.
  • Provide training and education on Cambridge operational processes and practices.
  • Build relationships with financial professionals by understanding business needs, answering inquiries, and communicating company procedures.
  • Review financial professionals’ business mix to develop tailored transition plans.
  • Provide support for efficient and successful transition experiences.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact during onboarding and transition.
  • Coordinate with other departments and connect financial professionals with internal resources.
  • Organize, prepare, and deliver training sessions on products, services, procedures, and policies.
  • Maintain current training materials.
  • Follow up on open action items and respond to questions in a timely manner.
  • Provide requested information to management, associates, and financial professionals.
  • Identify user-experience improvements and assist in refining workflow processes.
  • Assist with escalated issues through guided support, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex processes.
  • Support Transition Leadership in planning and executing efficiency-improvement projects.
  • Learn about industry topics, internal programs, technology solutions, and Cambridge product lines.
  • Meet and contribute to service level standards.
