Job summary

MainStreet Bank is seeking an Account Opening Specialist to orchestrate a high-touch onboarding journey for business clients. You will partner with Business Bankers to gather documentation, open business accounts, and configure treasury and cash management services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, finance, communication or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in retail/business banking operations, deposit setup, or treasury management support.
• Solid understanding of business entity structures and requisite legal documentation.
• Working knowledge of CIP, KYC, BSA/AML, and Beneficial Ownership rules.
• Ability to research and obtain necessary customer documentation from online sources.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Bankers to onboard new clients.
• Gather and verify client documentation for account opening.
• Collect additional legal, financial, and identification documents.
• Review documents for completeness and compliance with BSA/AML and KYC.
• Input client data into core banking and service systems with precision.
• Configure accounts and services (online Banking, ACH, wires, etc.).
• Provide onboarding training to client administrators and end-users.
