Job summary

Metropolitan Commercial Bank is seeking a Client Onboarding Specialist to deliver a seamless onboarding experience for complex Commercial and Corporate Banking clients. You will coordinate account openings, Treasury Management product setup, and digital banking requirements while collaborating with multiple internal teams.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple high-impact implementations within SLAs.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant experience in commercial banking, corporate banking, Treasury Management implementation, commercial account opening, deposit operations, client onboarding, or Treasury Management servicing.
• Demonstrated experience working with Commercial or Corporate Banking clients and complex legal entity structures.
• Working knowledge of commercial deposit accounts and Treasury Management products across payments, receivables, liquidity, fraud prevention, reporting, and digital channels.
• Understanding of payment methods, processing requirements, product restrictions, cutoff times, transaction limits, approval controls, and fraud risks.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to deliver high-touch onboarding for complex commercial accounts.
• Own end-to-end onboarding for new and existing Commercial and Corporate Banking clients from handoff to implementation and training.
• Coordinate onboarding across multiple legal entities, affiliates, and Treasury Management services.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring alignment with approved structures.
• Manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously within SLAs and identify delays with mitigation plans.
• Develop onboarding trackers and status reports for audit-ready records.
