Job summary

Citigroup in Washington, D.C. is seeking a seasoned Private Banker Support professional to apply deep expertise to onboarding, KYC, and client requests within the Private Client Coverage area. The role partners with sales teams and internal partners to deliver a differentiated client experience.

The incumbent will influence process improvements, manage multiple deadlines, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations while supporting wealth management clients.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in wealth management or financial services.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage internal and external relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Applies onboarding knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data, identify policy gaps, and define business issues.
• Partners with sales teams and liaises with KYC, Account Opening and product partners to fulfill client requests while maintaining communication.
• Ensure all documentation is current, accurate, and complete, fulfilling requests promptly.
• Supports clients navigating KYC/onboarding and account opening processes while evaluating moderately complex issues with potential impact.
• Demonstrates subject matter and industry expertise to influence decisions and support training of peers.
• Assess and escalate risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
