Job summary

Margaritaville at Sea is hiring a Training and Development Manager aboard to drive training strategy for all crew, design programs, measure effectiveness, and foster continuous development to elevate service and guest experience.

You will collaborate with HR, Shoreside, and department leaders to implement onboarding, onboard leadership training, and KPI-driven initiatives while ensuring LMS delivery and compliance reporting across ship operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of HR training, employee engagement, or organizational development.
Experience designing and delivering training programs for diverse, multicultural teams.
Hospitality or cruise industry experience preferred.
Strong understanding of HR principles, training methodologies, and adult learning theories.
Familiarity with LMS platforms and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, facilitate, and conduct HR, Margaritaville Brand, and department training.
Design and implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped to deliver exceptional service and uphold safety protocols.
Work with HR Services/Crew Purser to refine onboarding processes for new crew members.
Coordinate with Shoreside team to implement corporate and brand initiatives.
Develop and implement in-service training based on KPI-based needs.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and development and leadership growth on board.
Track training compliance and maintain accurate training records.
