Job summary

Grand Canyon Railway and Hotel is seeking a Passenger Attendant to join the Passenger Services team. You will work onboard the Grand Canyon Railway’s passenger train across service classes, delivering high-quality guest service while ensuring safety and a memorable journey.

This long-term seasonal position offers opportunities to engage with guests from across the country, with responsibilities including food and beverage service, ticket processing, and assisting with equipment and station

Qualifications

• 2 years’ customer service experience in hospitality.
• 1 year experience operating a point-of-sale system processing payments, cash and credit cards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality guest service to ensure a safe, welcoming onboard experience.
• Resolve guest needs and situations professionally.
• Maintain passenger safety and adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
• Provide information about Grand Canyon Railway attractions to guests.
• Prepare and sanitize railcars for daily service and returning trips.
• Process transactions using POS systems and maintain cash handling compliance.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors in fast-paced environments.
• Complete required training and certifications within designated timeframes.
