American Cruise Lines seeks shipboard Cooks for the 2026 season on America’s rivers. You’ll join a culinary team delivering a first-class dining experience using fresh, regional ingredients.

Responsibilities include assisting the Executive/Sous Chef, organizing kitchen workflow, preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner, and accommodating dietary requests while maintaining hygiene and safety aboard a moving vessel.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in full-service resort, hotel, country club or full-service restaurant.
• Experience cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Familiar with food safety standards.
• Strong problem solving, organizational, and self-motivation.
• Effective leadership with time management.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• TWIC credential.

• Work with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef to produce diversified meals from fresh ingredients.
• Organize workload to ensure kitchen processes run efficiently.
• Produce high-quality dishes following established menu choices.
• Adhere to guests' dietary requests.

• Ensure meals are prepared quickly and deliciously.
