Job summary

Canyon Spirit in Denver, CO seeks an Onboard Host to deliver exceptional guest service and memorable experiences on our Colorado–Utah rail journeys. You will welcome guests, provide upscale meal and beverage service, and share engaging stories to enrich the journey.

As a visible ambassador, collaborate with train managers and culinary hosts, adapt to various railcars, handle transactions, and maintain safety standards for up to 54 guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are an asset.
• Experience delivering service in a full-service dining or hospitality environment required.
• Public speaking, theatre, acting, tour-guide, or large-group presentation experience is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and life-changing experiences aboard rail journeys.
• Create welcoming onboard environments and anticipate guest needs.
• Deliver meal, beverage, and snack service per standards.
• Prepare railcars, galley setup, inventory, stock, and coach readiness.
• Engage guests through storytelling and presentations.
