Job summary

Amtrak is seeking a Chef/Line Cook to prepare full-course meals aboard our dining cars. You will assist with all phases of meal preparation, loading, and service, while maintaining cleanliness on the lower level of the car. This role requires prior kitchen experience and a high school diploma.

• Previous work experience in a restaurant as a Chef/Line Cook.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full-course meals for Amtrak passengers.
• Assist with all phases of meal preparations.
• Wash all items used in the preparation of meals in compliance with FDA sanitation regulations and standards.
• Must complete all end-point duties.
